Where are you located, and what are your hours?
We are located at 210 Campen Rd., Beaufort, NC 28516. We proudly provide compassionate veterinary care to the pets of Beaufort, and surrounding communities of Carteret County, NC,
Our regular business hours are:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: Closed

What should I expect during my pet’s first appointment?
Your first visit will include a comprehensive physical examination, a review of your pet’s medical history, and a discussion about any vaccinations or parasite control products that are needed. We always make time to discuss nutrition, behavior, lifestyle, preventative care, and any health concerns you may have. If additional diagnostics or treatment are recommended, we’ll explain your options and answer your questions before moving forward.
How Do I Become A New Client?

What types of pets do you treat?
We provide veterinary care for dogs and cats of all ages, from playful puppies and kittens to senior companions. We also treat pocket pets, reptiles, and exotic pets. No matter what type of animal companion you have, we will provide gentle care and individualized recommendations that are based on their age, lifestyle, medical history, and overall health.
Emergency and Urgent Care
What is the difference between urgent care and critical care for pets?
Urgent care is for medical concerns that need timely attention but may not be immediately life-threatening, such as sudden illness, injuries, pain, vomiting, diarrhea, infections, or changes in behavior. Critical care involves pets with serious or potentially life-threatening conditions that require intensive monitoring, advanced support, or emergency treatment.

Do you provide both urgent veterinary care and critical care?
Yes. We provide urgent veterinary care and critical care for dogs, cats, reptiles, pocket pets, and exotic pets during our regular business hours. If your pet is experiencing signs of illness or injury, or you are unsure whether they need immediate attention, contact our team at 252-504-2097. We will assess your pet’s condition and help determine the most appropriate next step for care.

Services and Medical Care
What veterinary services do you offer?
Our hospital provides a wide range of comprehensive Veterinary Care Services, including wellness exams, vaccinations, surgery, dentistry, digital diagnostics, in-house laboratory testing, laser therapy, Phovia Light Therapy, behavior consultations, nutritional counseling, hospice and end-of-life care, urgent care, boarding, and many other services designed to keep your pet healthy throughout every stage of life.
What are Primary Care Plans?
Our Primary Pet Care Plans help make preventative veterinary care more convenient and affordable through predictable monthly payments. Plans are available for puppies, kittens, adult pets, and senior pets, and include recommended preventative services while helping families budget for routine veterinary care.
Is a Primary Care Plan the same as pet insurance?
No. Primary Care Plans are designed to cover preventative healthcare, such as wellness services and routine care. Pet insurance is intended to help with the unforeseen, such as unexpected illnesses and injuries from accidents. The two are not an either-or pair, but work very well together and complement one another. Contact us for more information.
Do you offer laser therapy and Phovia Light Therapy?
Yes. We offer both therapeutic laser therapy and Phovia Light Therapy to help reduce pain and inflammation while supporting healing for a variety of medical conditions. After examining your pet, we’ll determine whether either treatment would be beneficial as part of their treatment plan.
Can you help with behavior concerns?
Absolutely. We offer Behavior Support to help our clients understand, address, and correct behavioral issues in pets. Changes in behavior can sometimes indicate an underlying medical condition, anxiety, or environmental stress. We’ll evaluate your pet’s health, discuss the behaviors you’ve noticed, and recommend practical solutions or additional resources to improve your pet’s well-being.
Do you offer boarding?
Yes. We provide safe, comfortable Pet Boarding for our patients in a safe, veterinary-supervised environment. Our boarding facility features separate areas for cats and dogs, clean and comfortable accommodations, and a separate air conditioning system for our boarding area. As a veterinary hospital, our team is also available and qualified to monitor your pet’s health and address any concerns that may arise during their stay.

How do I request prescription refills?
For your convenience, we have a pet medication order form available online. You may also contact our hospital at 252-504-2097 . We always suggest getting your order before your pet runs out of medication.
Please note: all prescription medications must be authorized and reviewed by one of our veterinarians before being dispensed.
