From Hair Loss and Hot Spots to a Much Happier Dog
We had a canine patient come to Live Oak Veterinary Hospital struggling with severe allergy symptoms. He had lost nearly all his fur, developed several painful hot spots and was dealing with ear infections and red, irritated eyes. It was heartbreaking to see how uncomfortable he had become.
Our veterinary team developed a treatment plan to help get his allergies under control. We administered a Cytopoint injection and started him on Numelvi to help manage his symptoms and provide relief.
When he returned for his recheck, the improvement was noticeable. His eyes were no longer red, every hot spot had cleared up, his ears were back to normal and, best of all, his fur was starting to grow back.
His mom was thrilled to see him feeling so much better. She even told us she would never miss another dose of his allergy medication!
